Congratulations to Neil Hancock who completed the Fred Whitton Challenge in an amazing time
of 7 hours 45 mins. The ride is a 112 mile ultra hilly (mountainous!) challenge over all the famous
Lake District passes in a single day.

Congratulations to Ken Fowler who finished 1st in the 33 mile Northern Rock Cyclone Challenge
The strong head winds and the undulating countryside set a stern test for the riders
and the days fastest time in the 33 mile ride was set by Warwickshire Police officer
Ken Fowler with a very credible 1 hour 45 minutes, coming home a full
seven minutes a head of second place rider, and averaging a speed of 19 mph
over the 33 mile course.
